What a Founding sitter receives

Two things, both permanent.

What applying now means

Register now, go live after two checks.

Registering now puts you first in line. It doesn't reserve a place. When we open, you'll verify your identity and a person will review your profile. Founding status is given when your profile goes live, to the first 200 sitters in London to get there.
‍

We'll email you as each step opens, and we'll only share dates once they're confirmed.

1. Register your interest

Tell us you're interested. When we open, we'll ask about things like your London area, the cats you're comfortable with, and whether you can give medication.

2. Verify your identity

When we open, you'll verify your identity in your browser. It will confirm who you are. It is not a background or criminal record check.

3. Go live

A person will review your profile before it goes live. If you're one of the first 200 in London to go live, it carries the London Founding Sitter badge from that day.

A permanent badge on your profile. It marks that you were one of the first 200 sitters to go live in London, and it is never reissued once the 200 are named.

Priority listing

Founding sitters will be listed above sitters who are neither Platinum nor Founding. This is permanent too.

How the two badges differ

Founding and Platinum

Were you one of the first?

Founding. One of the first 200 cat sitters in London to go live. It marks when someone joined, not how they've performed. Earned once, never reissued.

Do owners rate you highly, again and again?

Platinum. Twenty or more reviews at an average of 4.5 or higher. Earned through completed bookings, and held while the average holds. Sitters who are both Platinum and Founding will be listed first.
