Cat sitting in Sutton, London

Sutton is a suburban borough in south London, taking in Sutton town centre, Cheam, Carshalton, Wallington, Belmont and Worcester Park. Most of its homes are houses with gardens: Victorian and Edwardian terraces around Sutton and Carshalton, and long streets of interwar semis in Cheam, Wallington and Worcester Park, many backing onto one another. That makes it a borough where a lot of cats come and go through a cat flap, and foxes are regular garden visitors. There are flats too, in Sutton town centre and in newer blocks near the stations, where cats are more likely to live indoors. Carshalton Ponds, Nonsuch Park and the Oaks Park give the area plenty of green space. Most visits start at a front door or a keysafe, so it helps to describe where the key is kept and which doors and windows to check before leaving on your Care Card, and to send any codes to your sitter in the booking chat once they've accepted. With frequent trains to Victoria, London Bridge and Wimbledon and the tram nearby, a local sitter can keep to your cat's morning and evening times.
